Great easy hike that kids of all ages can do that puts you down by the river. Kids played in the water for hours despite the water being extremely cold to me towards the middle of April (as such if you're early in the year be prepared for frigid water). The place also has great trails for horseback and mountain bikes.

Nice place to walk your dog.

Beautiful area! It is amazing how remote you can feel after just walking a short distance. Of course the houses on the ridge in the distance remind you about the city above, but the area is peaceful and beautiful. We did it in the summer and it was really hot and the water was low, but I imagine it is even better in the spring or fall with cooler temperatures.

Just did this for the first time. Cool little trail. The smell is from the sulphur hot springs up river. And it's only strong during colder months. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the light smell of sulphur from the springs.

The hike down to the river is very pleasant and only takes about 12 minutes.
