I read the reviews and hoped for the best but, maybe I just came in at a bad time...
The girl at the counter was not nice and said like 3 words. I ordered a breakfast bagel and it was not good... the eggs were overcooked and the sausage patty was half the size of the sandwich... I got an iced coffee and it was alright. I feel generous in giving 2 stars here... The property was really the best thing about this place... I certainly didn't see what all the fuss was about other than that.
Best coffee in southern Utah. Lots of other great offerings as well. Fast and friendly. Great views and a wonderful place to relax or catch up with friends and family.
River Rock is by far my favorite coffee shop that I have experienced since moving to Utah 2 years ago. The employees are awesome and always happy to see customer after customer. This place can get quite busy on the weekends, but the view is incredible. I love the remodeling they have been doing and the new deck out back is great! They roast their own beans and the coffee is splendid. They also have some gluten and dairy free options!
The view is the best part. Coffee is basic but better than Starbucks. For some reason they have a variety of "quiches" but they use corn tortillas instead of quiche crust so they aren't really quiches at all. Baked goods are unique combinations of citrus fruit and berries. If you're looking for classic baked goods, this is not the place. But if you want multiple combinations of flavors in your baked goods, you'll love it here. Again, the view is the best part so if the weather is bad, this place is basic.
Loved it! Prices are good. Drinks are great! Friendly staff and the atmosphere is seriously what makes this place. You can sit outside on the cliff and look down at the river. This place is literally the only good place in the area to go and hang out and get some drinks.
